- Born in New Jersey in 1939
- B.S. in Chemistry, Rutgers University
- B.S. in Ceramics and Glass Science, Rutgers University

- Came to Corning in 1963 to do marketing of new products for Corning Incorporated
- Started a manufacturing and wholesale glass business in 1965 which subsequently evolved into The Glass Menagerie on Market Street in Corning
- Former President of the Corning Chamber of Commerce
- Member of Board of Directors of Spencer Crest Nature Center since 1975
- Listed in Who's Who in the East for several years in the 1980's
- Organized, chaired and hosted the 1996 National Convention of the Brewster Society which was attended by over 300 kaleidoscope artists, collectors and dealers
- Board of Directors of Corning Community College Development Foundation
- Board of Directors of Corning Rotary Club
- Board of Directors of Eldridge Park (Elmira) Conservancy

Jacqueline Pope:
- Born in Corning in 1942 Member of a family with multi-generational glass making skills (father was a glassblower for Corning Glass Works and was the model for the Corning trademark, grandfather worked as a polisher for Frederick Carder, founder of Steuben Glass)
- Graduated Corning Community College Worked for several years in the new products marketing department of Corning, Inc. as support staff
- Member Board of Directors of Market Street Restoration Agency since 1981
- General Chairman of 1999 Victorian Celebration in Corning
- Member of City of Corning's Design Review Committee
